In 1955, a 750 GPM Pumper was purchased with a price tag of $17,000. Though the Ward was retired in 1999, in 2006 it was brought out of retirement to assist with water and mud clean up after serious flooding. Today the Ward remains at our station as a historical piece and occasionally attends local parades and transports Santa around the township.
